CIBSE Top Tips is a series produced for the Health and Safety Executive intended to help property operators, facilities managers and designers to understand the topics involved and what they can do to ensure buildings provide a healthy, comfortable and productive working environment in an energy efficient manner.
'Integration for whole life building performance' is the theme of this year's Technical Symposium, taking place at Heriot-Watt University Edinburgh from 14-15 April 2016. This annual sell-out event aims to encourage the participation of both young and experienced industry practitioners, universities, research organisations and others to share experiences and develop networks.
Projects come in all shapes and sizes, but certain key principles apply to all. CIBSE Training have identified that the construction, facilities management and building services industries require experienced project managers to ensure that companies successfully bridge the gap between practical skills and commercialisation.
