In collaboration with Exeter University those files have now been updated to a more recent baseline to better represent our current climate and weather.
Heat pumps are a low carbon technology which will play an important role in the UK's future energy strategy. Heat pumps can offer an efficient and therefore economic source of renewable heating and/or cooling as well as benefits in terms of government incentives, planning approval and reputation.
CIBSE Training have introduced two new courses to inform you on the best methods for employing this technology:
On 16 February CIBSE Certification held a Breakfast Briefing to discuss the benefits of implementing an Energy Management System within an organisation and the importance of becoming ISO 50001 certified. Speakers from Kingspan, GEA Consulting and ISO 50001 Lead Auditors lead the discussions.
Energy strategy reports are a requirement for planning permission in London and a number of other UK cities including Oxford, Reading and Brighton. Writing a meaningful report involves making many decisions about what data you use and how you apply it. This practical course will review energy strategies and demonstrate how to prepare an energy strategy report.
